Description
  • Perform a wide range of diagnostic nuclear medicine studies including SPECT, SPECT-CT, PET-CT, bone scans, renal scans, thyroid scans, cardiac studies, and other specialized procedures.
  • Ensure proper patient positioning and acquisition protocols to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Operate and optimize imaging equipment, including Gamma Cameras, SPECT-CT, PET-CT, Dose Calibrators, and associated workstations.
  • Process, reconstruct, and archive imaging data according to departmental protocols.
  • Assist Nuclear Medicine Physicians in image interpretation by ensuring accurate and complete imaging datasets.
  • Receive, prepare, dispense, and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with prescribed protocols and radiation safety guidelines.
  • Perform dose calculations and activity measurements using calibrated equipment.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and transportation of radioactive materials in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of radiopharmaceutical receipt, utilization, disposal, and inventory.
