Cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing

KDAH

Diseases like pneumonia, influenza, and tuberculosis are transmitted via the air. When an infected person sneezes or coughs, microorganisms may be passed on to others through airborne respiratory droplets. Whenever you feel you are about to cough or sneeze, make sure you cover your mouth with a tissue or a face mask and then dispose of it carefully. If you don’t have a tissue nearby when you sneeze or cough, make sure to cover your mouth with the crook of your elbow as much as possible.
