Biography

Dr. Avvayyam Rattan is a congenital cardiac surgeon with over 9 years of experience in neonatal, infant, and paediatric heart surgery. Trained at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, and Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai, he specialises in complex congenital cardiac procedures, including neonatal repairs, arterial switch operations, Tetralogy of Fallot repair, Fontan completion, redo surgery, and ECMO support. An active academic surgeon, he has presented research at leading national and international conferences and contributes to global quality improvement initiatives in congenital heart surgery. Dr. Rattan is dedicated to delivering advanced, compassionate, and accessible paediatric cardiac care, with the vision of establishing world-class congenital heart services for children across Central India.
